OT LaVar Ball Says He and LaMelo Would Beat Michael Jordan, LeBron James 2-on-

And you'd tune in to do what?

Give him more attention! :devilwink:

I think I have said from the beginning that I think this whole thing is fascinating. I think he's annoying, and I kinda hope he stays relevant so if Alonzo struggles we can watch him dance.

Cept uncle Rico would be a horrible father and this one has provided opportunities for both of his sons to attend and play for a Division 1 University. One of which is now a millionaire.

This is all parenting IDGAF what anyone says.

This is such crap. You can say this about almost every player in the NBA...except those parents did it without being a disrespectful, narcissistic, sexist, pompous asshole on a national stage.

So basically almost every player in the NBA, by your definition, had better parenting than the Ball kids.

The one thing I'll say is, a lot of older ex NBA players have put thousands of basketball miles on their bodies and their legs are not what they used to be. There is a good chance Mr. Ball, due to his dirth of basketball talent, has no where near the wear and tear on his legs Chuck has. I have no idea how well Barkley is moving around, but just sayin'. If Mr. Blowhard is counting on MJ being worn out, he'd better guess again. I'm pretty sure Jordan can still dunk on his face, at will.

No, you not giving him any props is "such crap".

How many other players' parents have you given "props"? He's an idiot and from the data we have access to, by your definition, is possibly the worst parent in the NBA.

All I see is people discounting him because of his antics. Which is fair. But what's unfair is people rooting for Lonzo to fail because of his father.

Lonzo is, by all accounts, a good, unselfish, well spoken, hard working kid who's never been in trouble. He's a great teammate and probably the most unselfish player in the draft.

But, because of his ass hat father, people like you want him to fail and root for it. And you think none of what Lonzo has become can be attributed to his father.....

I only want him to fail because he wears piss and purple.

But it's ALL OF you all's fault. Not his.

YOU KEEP GIVING HIM ATTENTION....

Players don't really flop at the NCAA/HS level. Why? It's because the flops aren't rewarded with attention. If you want this MF to STFU,

STOP.

GIVING.

HIM.

ATTENTION.

It's really as simple as that.

And it wasn't just 54-year old Michael Jordan he claims they can beat, it was also 32-year old LeBron James. 48-year LaVar, who averaged 2.2 ppg in his one season of college basketball, claims he, and his 16-year old son, can beat the greatest player ever and the greatest current player in a game of 2 on 2.

To say he's full of shit is an understatement.

With claims like that, he may be angling to run for President.

His son has potential, but also would have been clobbered by any of summer league teams this year. I really wonder what life is like in that house. I almost wish they would do a reality show just to make the Kardashians and the Ozbournes look sane.

I believe Barkley is coming out of his 2nd hip replacement surgery. Barkley is really not fit to play basketball anymore.

Posting about him in this forum isn't lining his pockets (it's lining Denny's). Buying his crap shoes and overpriced tee shirts is where he's trying to make money, and honestly, I wouldn't know any of the stupid shit he says or does if not for this forum. In the end, he's not getting a penny of my money either way.

I agree, I want his son to fail because he's wearing the piss and purple. The last thing I want is for Lonzo to have a Magic Johnson like rookie year and have Paul George, LeBron, etc. decide to form their next super team in LA. I've seen too many Lakers super teams in my life: West and Wilt, Kareem and Magic, Shaq and Kobe... The last thing I want to do is see another. The good news is the last two times the Lakers tried to form a super team (adding Malone and Payton to Shaq and Kobe and adding Dwight and Nash to Kobe and Pau), it failed. I'm afraid that trend won't continue. So, I'd rather see Lonzo fail, have a shitty rookie year and let the banana boat buddies hook up elsewhere.
