Low risk deal for the Kings. Both Vinny and Schenn are gone after this year. As part of the deal Lecavalier said he will retire at the end of the season and Schenn is a UFA.

Interesting that moves are happening so early. Wonder if we are looking to do anything.

Good depth move for them. Vinny got screwed in Philly and that probably led to his stone hands. Schenn might be good for them too.

Weal is nothing special, I watched him in Hartford

Now that i think about it, wasn't Schenn the main piece (or only piece?) in the trade with TOR for JVR? that'd be crazy if all they got to show for JVR is Weal and some 3rd rounder.
