Interesting article from last year about line legalization of marijuana and how it affects NBA Players. I wonder if the nba would be the last to allow players to smoke marijuana.

They don't name the player who got pulled aside but I assume it is none other than Raymond Felton!

Showing up at practice too stoned to do your job is unacceptable, especially on that high of a salary, however I wouldn't have any problem as long as it doesn't affect their performance...if that is even possible.

I'm all for smoking pot, but there ain't no way I would endorse the team I want to win to smoke it.

This is no better than allowing players to come to practice drunk as fuck.

Good big-picture article. Articles like that appeared often in radical newspapers around 1970. But then Reagan's War on Drugs reared its ugly head and the police state took back control from the progressives. Here's a new article giving temporal perspective.
