The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), swept the Los Angeles D-Fenders in an overtime victory 137-126.
The game stayed close for four quarters before the Legends were able to pull away in overtime. The two teams exchanged control throughout the first and second quarters, going into halftime tied. The third and fourth quarters each saw equal scoring as well with both teams putting up 55. Overtime ignited a spark in the Legends who shot 100% and went 9 of 12 from the free throw line to outscore the D-Fenders 16-5.

PJ Hairston came off the bench to lead the Legends with 36 points while Damion James followed closely with 34 and 9 rebounds. Jae Crowder had his second triple-double in as many games with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, and Shane Larkin added a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Manny Harris led Los Angeles with 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Terrence Williams came off the bench to add 27 points and 5 boards.
