Leon Wood hates the Blazers

Remember this name. He called a shitload of fouls on the Blazers last year and this year is doing the same thing. He never calls fouls on the other team.

Leon Wood was the official that was calling everything against the Blazers last year against Philadelphia in Portland. The refs in that game sucked.

The funny thing was Leon Wood was selected 10th overall by the 76ers.

I must say that every call that seemed completely bogus the announcers were saying his name. Who was that guy who refused to shake Clyde's hand and got removed from a series for blatant anti-Drexler bias? Maybe we have a successor.

The funny thing was Leon Wood was selected 10th overall by the 76ers.

He was a 6-3 guard drafted 6 places ahead of 6-2 John Stockton, on the strength of "character" (= being in the Olympics). Eventually, career minutes showed that he should have been drafted 22nd that year (major injuries each of his 7 seasons).
