I believe in Meyers. Need him to be annoying to Draymond and fuck up his psyche.

Man, the amount of hate in here for one of our own guys is almost disturbing. I wonder what great achievements mankind could have accomplished if so much time and energy hadn't been spent on finding new and creative ways to criticize a bench player. My heart weeps.
You have to trade 2 of Crabbe, Meyers TankHard, and Turner, and I don't think Neil will trade an FA he just signed. So, if you keep Crabbe, you probably have to ditch Nurk - an unsavory prospect.Crabbe is worth the money, imho. I'd keep him. Turner... ehn I'll wait to see how he does in the playoffs. Leonard? I hope he has a nice summer.

Whoa, you totally lost me on how you came to this conclusion. Nurkic isn't going anywhere - CJ would be traded before Nurk, and I don't think CJ is getting traded anytime soon. So, if you keep Crabbe, you probably have to ditch Nurk - an unsavory prospect.
Mmmm....Funyuns......Yep! Back when Leonard was backing up LaMarcus, the threes seemed gimmicky but useful in a "Albuno Channing Frye" sort of way. Now that our identity is set, Meyers has to learn the skills that will make him a successful backup to our starting center. At the very least, if he learns them, he can be traded for more than a sack of Funyuns and a 2027 2nd Rounder.
We're not going to be in the luxury tax when Nurk gets paid, we're in NOW - more than $20 mil over would be my guess based onNurk is actually untouchable unless his leg falls off. The luxury tax limit should be avoided but depending on your point of view, starting it up when you resign Nurk isn't the end of the world, if you think you're going to be worldbeaters. At that point, though, you probably trade your bench for vets.
The way I see it there are 2 options for Meyers:
1. Complete brain transplant.
2. Something like this, and let Sly work the controls.

This coming year we're at $140 mil - CJs extension has kicked in. Subtract 6.7 of Ezeli's 7.7, and we're still at almost $134 mil. If the luxury tax is about $115 next year, then we're about $19 mil over. We need to dump salary or we're over this coming year, and if we're in the luxury tax before Nurk signs, then we'll be in repeater tax territory.
So, my point is... How do you dump $20 mil without trading Crabbe for a cheaper player? It's rhetorical, you can't.
Seems like Denver would be a good option....The basic idea is to trade him to a GM who also needs a brain transplant....

Don't rule out Sacramento!So Brooklyn?
another brain transplant candidate? (jk)This thread needs to F' Off. I bought his damned Jersey. Backup C of the future. Nuff said....

You guys are so mean, bunch of bullies.
We should trade him to NYC or BOS.
Pork rinds are very valuable to those of us on low-carb diets.I think we would hit the jackpot if we could trade him to either team in exchange for only a bag of pork rinds!

Omg, he's basically a 9th grader who over values his talent but doesn't realize he sucks.
So now our list of current possible trades items include options of....I think we would hit the jackpot if we could trade him to either team in exchange for only a bag of pork rinds!
Stop complaining. I already offered to help you out with that.... LolThis thread needs to F' Off. I bought his damned Jersey. Backup C of the future. Nuff said....
Why does everyone think that Turner isn't a good fit here? Just cause he can't shoot threes?
Yeah, I agree 100%. Sure, it took him a bit to get into the team flow. Then he BROKE his hand. People think he's gonna be shooting awesome after coming back from that??? I think he's doing great, considering everything. LOVE his passes, and mid-range game. IMHO, NO would look stupid if he immediately traded him, after giving him a huge contract. Don't see it happening....Why does everyone think that Turner isn't a good fit here? Just cause he can't shoot threes?
