I'm jaded, so as with all my posts, take this with a grain of salt. Every fucking year it's the same damn article with different names inserted.
The Portland media and team media are complete garbage.
I think Casey does a great job. I rank him right behind Kerry Eggers for Blazer coverage.
Shocking
Because he assumes we would immediately discount the writer's credibility for having the audacity to write something unpleasant about our beloved team, and subsequently belittle MM for having the temerity to post it in this den of homerism?Instead of complaining about the writers you don't like why not post some links to Blazer coverage and articles that you do like. I know a lot of us would really appreciate it.

Just guessing...
I get that. I'm just try to peek inside the mind of Mediocre Man.People post lots of unpleasant things about the team including articles.

If you're scared, buy a dog. If you are a dog, then...buy a bigger dog? You're a braver man than I am.

Other people already do that. You are great at it. It's just this piece on leadership we get every year and so and so stepping up.
National articles are great, but the forum poo poos them immediately if they aren't unicorns and rainbows about the team.
I LOVED Quicks behind the locker room door stuff he did a few years back.
You should update your narrative.

I think MM meant he liked quickies behind the locker room door...easy mistake to makeLiked everything in this post except for the bolded. Quick is a goddamn liar to me and always injects himself into the "story".
That leaves out Frazier and PressyI don't like it when writers say nice things about the Blazers, I like it when writers say the Blazers suck. Because I am a huge Blazer fan.
That makes sense right?

Are you saying we're not going to sweep the Spurs this year?I like it when its objective, and not always fluff
That make sense too, right?

“I think on the court it’s important to be more vocal, especially since guys don’t know some of these sets that we’re running, they don’t know a lot of the spots they’re supposed to be in,” said McCollum...“I think being a little more vocal, stepping up when I see a mistake that can be easily fixed,” said Leonard regarding what he can offer from a leadership perspective...McCollum and Leonard will probably be called to lead less often as the season goes on and Portland’s new players become more comfortable with each other...
