I have no idea what this thread is about, but it reminded me of a good time in my early twenties. I was working at a restaurant when the restaurant was sold. There were a couple days when all the product was unaccounted for, the new owners hadn't done inventory yet. A few friends and I stole four bottles of Dom, some opus one, a bunch of rib eyes and a few other goodies. We all went camping and were passing the bottles of Dom around the campfire, all taking swigs like bums sharing maddog.

I wouldn't steal anymore, but that was a great time. Fun, friends and fancy booze.

I freaking love Battier for that. He knows playing in the NBA is winning the lottery. He doesn't feel the need to blow through his money. His NBA salary will last his family for generations.
