Lets beat every team in the league

If we can beat the Heat tomorrow we will have a great chance at doing this. How many teams have done that in the history of the NBA? I can't think its too common, especially with playing every team in the opposite conference only twice. We don't play the Mavs at home any more so it will be hard to steal one of those on the road. There are only 3 teams with winning records in the league the Blazers have yet to beat. GO BLAZERS!

I have no idea how common it is, but I suspect there are a few teams that do it every year.

I think we've only swept pistons so far. We got two wins against sactown.

The Heat were the only team to do this last year.

The year prior was the lockout season so nobody was close to doing it.

In 2010-2011 the Bulls were the only team to do it.

In 2009-2010 the Mavs and Magic were the only teams to do it.

In 2008-2009 no team in the league did it.

So its about one team a year that can do this. It would be cool if this year its us!

In 1990-91 The Blazers, Suns and Celtics did this. I think it was more common back then as there were less teams so you'd have more chances to beat a team once.

Blazers will beat the Heat at least once. Doesnt mean they do it tomorrow night. I think Westbrook being out is a distraction in a sense. All of sudden hey, we may not need have to play to this same level night in and night out. I think todays news skews their attention just a tad

This team doesn't get skewed. They are tougher and more focused than that.

I'm surprised more teams don't accomplish this. Not to be too "glass half-empty," but isn't "beating every team in the league" the equivalent of just not getting swept by anyone? It's made easier for the Blazers (or Thunder, Spurs, etc.) by this: Western teams play each other more, so they've got more chances to get a win against the better teams; and Western teams only play the Eastern teams twice, but since most of them suck, that should be plenty to get a win, right?

I wonder what the worst record was for a team that did this? It's statistically possible to be pretty far below .500, but to beat each team once.

It doesn't look hard, but it really is. If it was so easy, more teams would have done it.
