What would you, as Blazer GM, offer them? Or does his recent history with injuries scare you completely off of him?

A resigned Wes Matthews and Nic Batum, plus any one bench player but Tim Frazier.

Think of the irony of signing Durant and having him turn into Oden here. The end of honking altogether.

I am not worried about his injury. So if we want to be somewhat realistic, OKC would only trade Durant for a star in return. So if you are asking would I trade either LMA or Dame for him...............I would have to consider LA only if Durant signed an extension.

I said consider since I like LA much more than Durant. But we are talking about a league MVP so I can't let my heart get in the way of my brain.

We may have a player or two OKC woukd take. Obviously it would have to be set of players that work with Russell.

So the homer in me says I don't want Durant.
That one of the two players OKC would want is either Aldridge or Lillard..
The Homer in me says thanks, but no thanks...
It also brings up the record the Blazers have VS OKC in the past two years.. 6 wins 1 loss.

The non-homer in me says I'd give up Lillard to get a healthy/resigning Durant.
Not offering Aldridge though, no thanks. I'd hope Durant would learn to play with a player like Aldridge....

The basketball person in me says Aldridge+KD wouldn't play as well together as Lillard/Aldridge though...

Here's the deal: KD hasn't signed another extension with OKC, and his contract ends at the end of the 2016 season. If you are OKC, do you roll the dice and hope he signs? If he doesn't and walks, the Thunder are left with nothing. So a team trading for KD would have a certain amount of leverage.

I personally think Batum + CJ/Leonard and filler would be acceptable. I would trade none of Lillard, Aldridge, Lopez, and would only consider Wes if Durant proved he was fully healthy. OKC is building around Westbrook now. I would give them Batum, but they'd probably ask for both Batum and Wes, and I'd say no to that.

If he agrees to an extension anything that doesnt include both Lillard/LA.

I don't really like Durant, doesn't he dislike Portland anyways?

This is odd. Yeah, I would take him. And if his physical and his foot checked out ok, I wouldn't think twice. He's a top three player when healthy. Do we have that on the team now?

I don't think they will move him to a team in their own division.

We'd have three of the top 25 (IMO) on our team... unfortunately, it'd probably take one of those two to get that one, so really, we'd have 2 of them.

I like our team. I like Durant. But I don't know how well it'd work together.

If we could resign Afflalo, I would have no probs with Caravan's offer if everything checked out ok on him.

I think Stotts would cream in his jeans if he could get Kevin Durant.

Other teams fans say the same thing about Aldridge but we didn't trade him.

Zero chance OKC trades Durant this summer.

Might as well propose we get Anthony Davis back in the trade as well.

I loved this so much.

OKC has their own shitty newspaper columnists. haha.

No max players sign extensions so not sure why anybody brings that up. Players have to go to free agency to get a new max deal so not having an extension is meaningless.
