Geesh. If Rubio is so good, why did the Wolves draft Flynn too? And if they wanted a PG, they could've had Curry, Teague, Holiday, Lawson, or Jennings, all of whom are starting while Rubio is backing up Ridnour and Flynn is a bust. They also could've had Collison or Maynor. It's amazing how many good PGs came out of that draft. Too bad the ones that Minny got suck.

They are a loser organization. The Minnesota Timberwolves have a franchise winning percentage of 0.399 (26th out of 30 current teams). The Blazers are at .532 (6th out of 30 teams).

They have zero championships, zero finals appearances and have only made it past the first round once in 23 years. The have only made the playoffs 8 times and their last playoff appearance was 9 seasons ago. They have won 50 games a total of 4 times. The Blazers have a championship, three finals appearances, have made it past the first round nine times and have eleven 50 win seasons. The Blazers have made the playoffs 29 times and last made the playoffs the season before last.

Of course they're jealous.

Them = 23 seasons
Us = 42 season

That's a ratio of 42/23 = 1.83

Doesn't effect winning percentage:
Them = .399
Us = .532

Everything else should scale by a factor of 1.83. It doesn't. We've made the playoffs 29 times, they've made it 8 times. That's a ratio of 3.63. We've made it past the first round 8 times, them once. That's a ratio of 8.0.

The only teams in the NBA with lower winning percentages than Minnesota are: Memphis, Charlotte and the Clippers. I suspect Memphis will pass them in the next year or two. The Clippers have a much longer history of ineptitude to make up for, but they could eventually as them as well. Yeah, the Timberwolves have only been an NBA team for 23 seasons, but they have NOTHING to show for those 23 years. Seriously, they have constantly had high lottery picks and waste them. They are the new Clippers.

1 title, 3 trips to the Finals,4 trips to the WCFS's, and playoffs in 15 of the 23 years.

They were the number 1 seed in the West in the 2004 playoffs. KG won MVP but Kareem Rush made a bunch of threes and the Lakers upset them in the Western Conference Finals. To be fair, Cassell was hurt but oh well.
