Bring back hand checking, that'll change the way you can defend an opponent

RMan Those were the days. If that was allowed perhaps ticky tack fouls would also be excluded from everyones' conversation. Just like the NFL, the fans deserve the other side of the coin: Defense......

I do think it is a start but I also think you would never see a charge in the NBA anymore in that scenario. Ref's aren't going to call something that could be even close to a flop. They are going to error WAY on the side of caution (for the sake of their pocketbook) That really hampers legitimate plays where there should be a charge call.

Paul and Ginobli are shameless floppers. The refs have to know they are flop-meisters so why do they continue to let these players make them look like fools? The first replay I saw that exposed my mistake, I'd be irritated. The second, I'd be ticked off. By the third, I wouldn't be giving them the benefit of the doubt ever. After half a dozen times trying to sucker me into a bad call, I'd let opposing centers knock their teeth out and just swallow my whistle. Do NBA refs enjoy looking like complete fools? I don't get it.

I've gotta put Chris Paul and Ginobli on that list and Divac flopped way more than the mailman in my view.

>The funny thing about the mailman is he was solid muscle and hitting him on a pick and roll was like slamming your face into a car grill.
