Whenever my friends pick me up, the only thing they listen to in the car is the Drought 3 ( His current mixtape) It's getting pretty annoying how many people actually consider him better than 2Pac and Biggie.</span>

I think hes overrated and he doesn't rap real lyrics, jsut that hes richer than you and every hoe in the west coast gives head to this guy.

I don't live near any black people, there are no rap stations around here, but Lil Wayne has an annoying voice, and from what I've heard doesn't even write his own songs.

I think Weezy is a terrible rapper. Lil Wayne does have some decent tracks but overall I hate most of his songs. Half of his lyrics don't even make sense and he just puts a word there that rhymes like "Any motormouth could get hung high/We don't F*ck with niggaz like fungi"

Weezy is a good rapper and is definitely one of the best alive right now, but I wouldn't say of all time. If he keep this up, then he'd get that all-time recognition.

Everyone loves lil wayne, I dont think he's all bad but a majority of his music is just sh*tty remixes on catchy beats. The only songs of his I actually would pick to listen to are Cannon,F*ck the world,and skys the limit. Maybe fireman can be added to that list also.

Alot of the south is garbage. Lil wayne isnt the worst in mainstream right now though. I'd say that award goes to baby huey,lil boosie,or paul wall.

His voice was annoying and he repeated the same thing 50x in one song. As for Lil Wayne, I think his lyrics are alright, but its his voice that kills it.Bay Area music anyone?

Rap NOW... has dumbed down to him being known as the best at this time to a lot of individuals.A few years ago he was not better than Fabolous.... now though I'd say he is cause fabolous F*cked up his flow with this new pop sh*t(.) Wayne right now is just the sh*t -in agood way-(!) People up here in NYC rocking that party like a rock star song too hard and songs like WIpe me down...ugh(.)That lip gloss song chick Lil mama is better than most these niggaz coming out now(.) Mac Dre is unbelievably overrated here though. People in the bay area act like he's a God when really his music is nothing that awesome. He's better than rappers like Mistah FAB or traxamillion but he's still nothing amazing.

He's ok, I have a few of his songs on my iPod. He's definitely not even close to being one of my favorites, or good enough for me to consider one of the best of all-time. His voice can get annoying at times and his lyrics are not the best but he has some good songs.

Traxamillion doesn't rap that often, but even his new single isn't half bad. And yes, Lil Mama's "Lipgloss" is the worst song I have ever heard...She isn't that bad of a female rapper, but when your first single is a song about lipgloss, I think it speaks volumes as to where your career is going.

I don't think that hes overrated, I just think a lot of people from here like to pay a lot (sometimes too much) respect to him for creating the foundation of Bay Area rap...I think that some of his songs were great, but also a lot of others were just average. I like the new people a lot more- Ya Boy, Bailey, The Team, Hoodstarz, etc...

Why do rap fans say things like this: This guy is better than that guy and that guy will never be one of the best of all-time, and if you disagree with me, you're wrong.You guys talk about rappers like they're athletes or something. Music is about taste and everyone has their own preference.
