I prefer the NHL series. I'm not a huge gamer but I do like my PS3 and will probably get a PS4 at some point. I like it for the DVD player as well. I don't understand why anyone would buy just a DVD player when when there is a PS3 on the market for around the same price it's one of the best DVD players you can get today. The PS4 will just be better.

When I get a movie from Netflix unless I get the blu ray version. Still the PS3 is great for either.

PS3 is also great for Vudu, Hulu plus, and Amazon Instant Video which is how I watch movies. Hardly ever use actual DVDs.
