Lillard clowns on Beverly

The next time we play the Rockets at home, we should hand out foam bricks to throw at Beverley.

So he's whining about Dame whining.

Ok then.

Where's the eyeroll emoticon when you need it... sheesh... Dame was asked a question and he answered it fully. Not sure how that classifies as "Whining".

I'd rather see the Blazers lose a game as opposed to resorting to flopping and whining to get calls. I'd rather watch legitimate basketball than watch the Blazers win because the refs side with them and their BS antics. I'm sure I'm in the extreme minority with this position, but it's really how I feel. I'm the fan at home games who talks to the guy next to me when the replay shows a foul on the Blazers, though, by saying "eh, looks like the right call." I'll boo egregious calls, of course, but to me, an educated fanbase doesn't need to whine about every single play, especially when replay shows it's the right call.

I'm not sure why you'd take this stance. I don't think there's one person in the forum who wouldn't agree with you on this. As a referee I FUCKING HATE FLOPS and I can ALWAYS tell when they happen. NBA Refs are lazy (don't get in position to make the call) and they REGULARLY call out of their primary area (the area they are supposed to be looking at AWAY from the ball).

I don't give a rat's ass how he spells his name. The douche is a Bitch.

Has Bitcherley been fined yet for his flop that cost the Blazers the game?

I didn't think so.

Don't get me wrong: I hate flopping as much as the next person. I have in fact posted on this forum that fouls should be called for flopping. That being said, this tactic has been the most effective way for a less talented team to win championships since the Showtime L*kers. From Chuck Daly to Pat Riley to Phil Jackson to Gregg Popovich, virtually every championship coach has used this tactic.

It's not an issue of taking the high ground and hoping the League notices. It's adapting or dying. Right now, we're dying.

I prefer to adapt.

ya know the shitty flopping isnt going to go away, and we're just going to have to adapt and join in. Its just the way it is. Bev has a point. We lost, they won.

I kinda wish we had a junkyard dog mentality with some of our players. I hate having so much finesse players...

Bosh, LeBron, harden, Beverley, griffin, cp3, Kobe. Interesting all the flop artists are on league favored teams.

Of course that's how they feel. Rocket fans are honestly some of the biggest homers I've ever seen, and that's saying something considering our fans can be pretty homertastic.

You only need to listen to there announcers to see how big of homers they are. If you think Mike and Mike are homers the rocket announcers are even worse and if Clydes calling the game it gets even worse

On the review where Beverley tipped the ball out of bounds, Barrett was on the air, right next to the officials, saying it looked like, based on the angle he was seeing, the ball would be given to Houston. Outside of Blazers employees, I doubt there where more than 3 people in the state of Texas saying it should be Portland's ball. I don't think the Mike's are as big of homers as some people accuse them of. It's not uncommon for them to look at a play objectively. Certainly they support the Blazers players, but they aren't blinded when reviewing plays and they don't mislead fans as to what they saw.
