is the team "hamstring-ed" now because of Dame's contract???
because currently he's at a little over 28% of the cap. His 191M supermax will put him at around 32-34% of the cap. The difference between the max and the supermax runs from about the tax-MLE to somewhere less than the full-MLE. That's not some insurmountable financial burden like some of you are panicking about
what hamstrings a team are players on contracts like Turner, Crabbe, and Meyers. Avoid those type of deals and the team will be fine
I'm a lot more worried about Olshey giving CJ a max deal than I am about Dame getting the super-max. Dame would be making a shade less than 48M/year. CJ could be making 40M/year
