Lillard is doing the interview under water.

Can barely understand a word he's saying...which is a shame b/c he's typically pretty well spoken.

My quick recap.

R: After that GSW win, a lot of teams mail it in; you guys didn't. how'd it feel
D: Great. Yeah, it would have been easy to relax, but Utah's a good team and close to us in the standings, so we had to refocus and grind one out.
R: thoughts about your amazing performance Friday night
D: Amazing. Practiced like normal--you stick to who you are and those things can happen. It's all about being consistent
R: Have you ever been in a zone like that? How does it feel?
D: Feels like it doesn't matter who's in front of you, the next shot is going in. That's how I felt on Friday
R: Do you guys gain major confidence from a win like the one over Golden State?
D: Sure, you believe more in what the coaches tell you when you see the results. It helps you put more confidence in everything the team does and preaches when you achieve a big win like that
R: over the summer, you guys lost a lot of experience and talent. How did it feel to be the only one left? Like the organization said the team belonged to you?
D: Yeah, and we got a lot of new guys in, but it wasn't all about me; I wanted us to be a unit--that's why we went to San Diego. We established it early, and now we're in a position to make the playoffs
R: What was your reaction when you first found out you didn't make the All star team
D: Honestly, I wasn't surprised (won't go into the reasons). Wasn't upset, but was disappointed. Last year was accused of "crying about it". Not putting my energy into all-stars.
R: Talk about your tweet criticizing ESPN analyst for suggesting Durant "doesn't have heart"
D: Not trying to call out ESPN, but it's just a joke, seeing all that he's accomplished, to suggest he doesn't have heart.
R: Your line from "They Sleep" suggests you might be taking some fuel from not making the all-star team
D: Sure, we needed to play better, get more wins, so that's what I'm putting my time into
R: You've got everything (game, shoe, career, endoresments)? Is it all going according to plan?
D: Even I'm amazed, and I haven't had to compromise who I am to have all this, so I'm very appreciative and blessed.

Rome was really pushing the line about missing the All-STar game.

I mean, it was complete bullshit, but this is probably going to be one of those things where a guy gets snubbed for all-stars but makes the all-nba team.

Happened to LMA, Al Jeff and Dragic in recent memory.

Sure, but I think the media is trying to get him to say something controversial. He got a lot of shit for what he said last year, which really wasn't even that bad, but I almost wonder if he's being punished by the coaches because they were salty about him putting them on blast.

His rep definitely took a hit last year.

Doesn't matter though, his game speaks volumes, and I am very happy he's focusing his efforts this year on getting better rather than talking about being snubbed.

So now he can breath underwater? Is there anything this man can't do?

Yup.... he learned his lesson.

I just want to thank the coaches who feel I wasn’t good enough, the fans that didn’t think I was good enough , and Adam Silver also for not thinking I was good enough. This isn’t unfamiliar territory for me , it’s actually what my life has been inspired by. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed or that I don’t feel disrespected but it’s not too much to handle. Not the first or last guy to be snubbed. “You should have been there” isn’t good enough for me. But anyway, The reason I’m in these shoes is because I’ve always use the hand I was dealt to my advantage… A wise man once told me… ” it ain’t always gone be peaches and cream but somebody has to pay for the reason it’s not … One way or another ” … #ImThankful #Real #NonAllStar #RipCity #YellowTape

Is dame sticking his neck out and defending KD, an attempt to get in his good graces and lure him to Portland? Kind of the impression I got!
Wait. I missed something here. Where is Dame sticking his neck out at?

He didn't @ Durant, though; unless KD follows Dame, he wouldn't see the tweet.

I am surprised to read Rome is still on the air. I thought we got rid of his garbage show.

Dame right about Durant someone has call out ESPN. If your not Lebron or play in LA or New York your not shit. So good job Dame speak your mind.
