Lillard named ROM for 3rd straight month

Welcome to our community

if given minutes, there are probably 30 players that COULD win one

they should have an award for that, the "could be rookie of the month award" or the "CB ROM"

It's not their fault they're great prospects being given small minutes on absolutely putrid teams

Monty Williams is being McMillan-esque here. I also think he's a bad match for Austin Rivers.

im very interested in this alternate universe you speak of, do the unicorns wear magical scarves there? do the women have cocks?

Also- Lillard led his team to an 8-8 record including wins against Memphis, New York, Miami, Indiana, and the L.A. Clippers.

Lillard had a great month indeed.

U could make the case warriors and bucks game were garbage time until blazers hit some threes

and then make the argument that other rookies would play better in an alternate universe, and then make the argument that they would then be better than lillard, and then..., and then....

"To say that I would have done otherwise had I wanted to is simply to say that I would have lived in a different universe had I been in a different universe."

that it is imaginary?

like "batum would make the all star team if he shot 20 shots a game"

care to prove me wrong?

You really think it's some stretch to say Drummond or Davis COULD win one if given more minutes?

Stop being an idiot.

its not a stretch at all, its like saying "you COULD have a 1 inch penis"

it very well might be true gumshoe

I'm talking about their per36 numbers, they're playing 20 and 28 respectively another 15 or 10 minutes per game and they'd be serious competition for Lillard.

You live in an alternate universe for thinking that

Let me get this straight: Davis or Drummond should be Rookie of the Month instead of Damian Lillard because they didn't play enough minutes to be rookie of the month?

:smiley-hmm:

Sounds like you have reading issues

No of course not, but if they were playing 35+ minutes a night at their current level of production, they'd be having better seasons than Dame.

Well obviously it's difficult for Davis to get PT on the Hornets because of their bountiful supply of big men.

What's funny is you're being sarcastic when you're actually partially right

Lopez
Anderson
Smith

All those guys deserve playing time

That said, Davis obviously deserves more time, but Monty is stubborn like Nate

OK. But they're not. ROM is awarded to the rookie who produced the most on the floor, not based on what they potentially might have done if something that didn't happen happened. If Lillard had Steve Blake on the team and Nate as coach, then yeah those other guys would probably have had a good shot at it. But frogs don't have wings.

Eh, it's been a long day. Maybe I'm missing some other point. Hasta lumbego, muchachos.

Maybe I'll catch up with ya'll on the game thread.
