These are the kind of stats that deceive Blazers fans.
Lillard came into the league as a 22 years old rookie, it's obvious that he's ahead of many other PG's if you take into account the first 5 seasons in the league.

Man Japanese baseball cheers song are the best, just listen to that

They sing like that ALL GAME LONG. The vibes in the stadium are unbelievable.

I...

Why is that Lillards fault?

"Hey, you're going to be ahead of all the other PG's! Play down to their level"

What?

I want my baseball games to not be soccer games.

A warrior based culture cultivates strong chant songs like that. Meanwhile we get "Out to the ballpark" a real ya ya song sang by any non relevant pop star.

Personally, and I'm this way at any sporting event - no music, no chants, nothing. Enjoy the game and let it come organically.

I can think of about three or four ball ML ballparks (off the top of my head) that still play that. Most of the time they have this patriotic 7th inning stretch highlighted by Kate Smith's rendition of "Gawwwwd Bleesssss Amerrrrrrica." It makes me want to wretch. At least NBA players are still cool despite the pomp and ceremonial stuff. But I miss the crazy coked up days of baseball when Strawberry, Gooden and Canseco were getting high, banging groupies and wrecking sports cars. It may not have worked out for their long term health but at least they some of those guys were interesting. Mike Trout is about as interesting as an Earl Grey tea bag.

Pro or collegiate Sport couldn't do it. The worst are the World Cup soccer asses with their horns of Zeus.

Well, the arena doesn't play the music, the fans do it by themselves. That's what's so great.

Lillard's 3pt % is sandwiched between Tyler Johnson and Sergio Rodriguez. Crabbe and CJ are in the top ten. I would rather see Damian not on that list with a lower point total and more assists.

Same goes for Westbrook. Guy is great but needs to stop taking the 3. He is near the bottom % wise yet takes the eighth most in the league.

I don't like that, either, though. I like it quiet as fuck unless the action dictates otherwise. lol. But, there's thousands of people at the events and so it's impossible, but it's a dream, damnit.

Sounds like you should be watching golf.

I don't think it would matter. He's all over tv. The team just needs to be better. Look at Westbrook
Westbrook would be a bigger star on Lakers or Knicks too. Dude didn't even start on AS team this year.

If the team performed better this season, they would of considered him an all star. It's stupid but that's how it goes. I just don't get how they give him all NBA but no all star love.
It's simple. Both seasons his team improved after the All Star break. While he may not deserve All Star berth, by the end of the season, he does.

If you're 19 and can't play, don't come into the league. No Boys Allowed.

You know how someone is great. It's not their presence you notice, but their absence. I was am an idiot and started listening to Derek Jeter's detractors after about ten years in the league. Baseball stats geeks are the biggest pricks on the planet and they will tear a player apart to analyze his faults. There was line of thinking that Jeter couldn't play SS anymore and everybody jumped on. And maybe they were right. But nobody could jam a high and tight fastball up the middle like Jeter. Nobody could get 200 hits when he was almost forty years old like Jeter. Nobody has more hits at SS than Jeter. I only noticed all this stuff AFTER he was gone and Arod was the closest thing to a star on the Yanks. I promised I would never do the same thing with Dame. Appreciate greatness when it's here. Not after it's gone....
Yeah, but Jeter is a dildo.

And so is ARod.

It really speaks on his shot selection. Because he's actually a really good shooter.

Westbrook, not so much.
