Lol. I really don't understand his choices with this team. Plumlee over Drummond. Lillard no playing time when Irving's and his numbers were practically the same despite irving playing on a team where he was the only all star. Derrick rose and his knees are just gonna fall apart when he tries to play in the real games. On top of that, the fact that korver is being played drives me crazy

Actually it's working out perfectly. Play the competition (NBA) players into the ground, big minutes and let Dame practice defense with coach Thibs up to the cut. He got the best defensive camp he's probably ever had and he'll be fresh for the Blazers preseason run. If my players were on the allstar team and I was coaching, they'd sit on the bench most of the game. I'd play the other players long hard minutes especially if they're from the Western conference. This is why I'm a famous head coach headed for the HOF

They said the Puerto Rico coach is Taco Obos. Why didn't I know that. He has white hair, no tan, and makes his swarthy lookalike Pritchard look Mexican.

Cousins plays NBA slowdown, and his game was an exercise in frustration. I think Plumlee makes the team over him.

I think jlprk is right about Plumlee. He's coach K's guy and now that the US is forced to play small ball, Faried, Plumlee and Davis are the fastest bigs on the roster. Cousins has a bum knee, Drummond is a half court slower guy

Cousins plays slow old-style, like Chamberlain, Moses Malone, all those old non-UCLA guys did. I remember Walton trying to play that style under Tom Meschery's influence. It doesn't come naturally when you've had a great college coach. It's useless when K's the coach.

Kyrie is going to be burnt out after this. Who ever has to fill in and press full court when rose rests is going to have a rough season. I would have liked for him to have gone, but not played much. However I'm fine with him being cut as well.
