Terrible loss last game. I just dont accepted that... lillard have the ball in his hands, should make that shot... oh boy...
@HCP ahead of the times. I agreed with him, by the way.Ass Clown Thread Of The Season! Why do you people even reply to this horseshit?
POST OF THE YEAR NOMINEE NUMBER 1The fact that we would NOT EVEN BE IN THE DAMN GAME without his play, is exactly why you CAN'T blame him! Place that on the guys who didn't show up at all. This is getting old to tell you the truth. He IS our team. we have 10 less wins at least without him on our squad. He has limited NBA talent surrounding him and yet he STILL puts up numbers and takes over games. This is like living in a beautiful mansion and complaining about the kitchen sink backing up.......like owning and driving a Porsche and bitching about the seats being a bit uncomfortable.......like , oh nevermind.
POST OF THE YEAR NOMINEE NUMBER 2You should always go with who's hot. That or the leader/best player on the team. That's how sports work man. I grew up playing organized basketball and we had games in HS were our best player shot shots, that one would call questionable. But shit, he was our go to guy. He's the one you want to have the ball in his hands when its go time. That's how team sports work. In football we had good receivers, but we always went with my best friend Jamal our RB when it was crunch time. They have earned the right to lead us to victory. Thats the mentality of the game man. Go with what you know our coach used to say. Very easy to sit out here and critique, but that's how these guys think. That's how the chemistry works with these young men.
and POST OF THE YEAR NOMINEE NUMBER 3Maybe you'll understand if I put it in your lingo......it would be like rolling the 20 sided dice, landing on a forbidden challenge box and complaining you don't have enough healing power to cast a mortice spell on the Randgriff Dragon.
How does Damian Lillard really perform in the clutch? Some on this board say he's lost us a lot of games through "hero ball" and others defend him and think those accusations are just negativity. Well, let's see what the stats say:
Here are Damian Lillard's 3pt shooting percentages within the last 5 min, 3 min, 1 min, 30 sec, 10 sec respectively, when the game is close 5 points or less (19%,14%,10%,0%,0%.) His overall FG% in those situations is in the mid 30s.
In the last minute of close games, he's averaging a staggering 9 turnovers per 36 minutes.
So I think it's clear that the stats support the crowd that is critical of how he plays in the clutch.
Contrast this to CJ. These are his 3pt shooting percentages in those clutch situations
(59%, 54%,71%67%,50%)
Damian Lillard is costing the team games with his crappy "Lillard Time" bullshit.

Calling @Sinobas...
