I'm running a bunch of Game Finder queries against Basketball-Reference.com, and the lists that show games like Dame'sxare really short. When you include minutes played and assists and steal, even 50/5/5, the list drops to one. Last night was special indeed.

He played only 31 minutes 6 seconds, so on a per-minute basis, his game excels over other many other great games in history.

Actually, I doubt this is true. Kobe's 81 point game came with 55 points in the 2nd half, and only played 42 minutes.

So, I doubt that he scored 31 points in 9 minutes.

Or the 62 points in 32 minutes.

Yeah that stat is REALLY misleading; because the 81-point game came before play by play stats were tracked, so we don't have when Kobe hit 51 in that game.

The game bring referenced is actually a 51-point game against Denver.

Wilt's 100-point game is the same way; we know he played 48 minutes every night but we don't know when he hit 50.

That information can be discovered. The radio play-by-play of Chamberlain's 100-point game was put onto the internet about 3 years ago. I listened to the whole thing, but I don't have the link now. It's probably easy to find.

Well, he scored 41 points in the first half, and 59 in the second half.

We scored 139 against philly in 2013... and I don't think it was in OT.

Quite a bit, actually.

Philly scored 114 last night, lost by 7.

Toronto scored 106 last night, lost by 10.

Atlanta scored 111 last night, lost by 4.

Dallas scored 104 last night, lost by 6.

So this Dame guy is pretty good, no wonder LMA didn't want to stay here, LMA knew it was only a matter for time before Lillard wasn't just sharing the spotlight with him but kicking him out of it.

Its occurred to me several times this season, especially seeing LMA shrink in huge games as usual, that he was holding Dame back. Now Lillard is free to be the best player on the team and no one's going to get their little feelers hurt and pout. We got lucky Aldridge rejected the team.

Did you even watch the game Dog or did you just look at the box score? If you just look at the box score it does appear Damian was playing unguarded. But if you actually made the effort to watch the game you would see the GSW actually did make an effort to play defense on him.
