I take some time off the forum and after a few games we have dudes posting how lillard, turner, and nurkic are shit. Jesus.

Lillard as a person I would put him above most in the league based on leadership and the way he presents himself as a role model for younger kids. He’s still the 3rd or 4th best pg in the league.

He was better than him last season but he's not someone you would prefer on a team that wants to win, no way. He is the sort of player you might want to have on a bad team to try and give the fans some joy and maybe climb you up to the playoffs but he doesn't make the players around him better, he actually makes them worse.

Put Lillard on the same OKC team he was on last season and they are a better team without Lillard putting up the same numbers Westbrook did.

Good lord that was a massively bad take. Even before Dame's improved defense, there is no way Isaiah Thomas, Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe were better. Conley has never been the scorer Dame is and is always injured (and make more money). He also listed Irving twice. Clearly grasping at straws to "prove" Dame was not a top 10 PG.

Well, he was top 5 before the season and is easily top 3 now.

I just really never got the Dame hate in this forum from posters like Tunchi/Grandjury, Sinobas, etc.

Damian Lillard is a very, very special player and we are lucky to be Portland Trail Blazer fans so we get to see just how special he is on a regular basis.
