A federal judge found that 93 percent of the traffic on Limewire, which drew 50 million users a month, involved the transfer of unauthorized copyright material. Under the judge's orders, LimeWire ceased all "searching, downloading, uploading [and] file trading."

There are many other avenues :devilwink:

wow, I didn't even know it was still around. I stopped using it years ago. It seemed to really mess up my computer(s)

Same here. Though I knew it was around as some family members were using it. I felt bad for them.

that too. My parents kept asking me wtf was up with their PC and I would always find and delete Limewire crap that my 16 year old brothers would download. Even after explaining multiple times why they shouldnt use it.

lol my mom got so mad when me and my sister would ruin the cpus we got by limewire, kazaa, etc...now i have the best way of getting music/movies/porn without a p2p or torrent

websites like zshare.net, rapidshare.com, mediafire.com, usershare.com

say you want to download an eminem album...google "blah blah eminem rapidshare" and then you should find a bunch of results...download it and and unzip it with winrar...and bam!

LOL! Unzip.. Lets see how fast your computer will get infected. Much more safer ways.

The rule of thumb is that once these sites are "well known", it's already time to move on to the next one.
