I had the flu a few weeks ago and I know I couldn't hit a clutch floater in the lane to save my life!
Thanks for posting this, I wouldn't have seen it in that other thread. It deserves its own thread.
If Lin is limited in game 2 that could be a huge bonus for the Blazers. Houston really needs his offense to create drives, especially off the bench. As much as Houston scores, lots of it is in transition. They have stretches where they really struggle in the half court but Lin with his driving ability is a great offensive option for them.
The difference is you can't do that when healthy, either.
You sir have never had the pleasure of experiencing my fine floater game! Lol
Uhh... Yea, this is a basketball forum.
I'm actually not new here. I just rarely post. Just wasn't sure what else floater would mean in the context I used it.Cute.
You're new here, so I'll let you in on a secret: we rarely talk basketball here. In fact, I'm pretty sure the only reason people are talking basketball here is because it's playoff time and we're up 1-0.
Exactly! If Lin misses game 2 that will be huge for us. This is a must win for Houston and will put even more pressure on them by having to make an adjustment for not having Lin on top of all the other game 2 adjustments they already have to make. Shall be interestingLin is actually more dangerous than Beverley because Dame has a hard time staying in front of him. Yes, he's a poor defender, but Beverley didn't exactly shut Dame down either.

Yeah, I would rather be pursued by a shark while trying to swim the English Channel. It's more sporting that way.
Not.
I'll take the easy way, thank you very much.
I would rather beat the Rockets at 100% then have players sit out that will help us.
They will come up with plenty of bogus excuses anyways. Terrible fan base in my opinionI would just hate to give Rockets fans excuses to use should the Blazers win.

It was the refs fault they blew a 10 point lead with 4 points in the 4th. Clean it up Houston fans, give us credit where credit is due!
