We have been fuming all over the forum citing left and right that we are less then happy about the team this year, about Olshey, Stotts, etc. I invite you to list your grievances here in this thread. Below are mine:

*Well of course the losing record, and losing ways

*An unbalanced roster that lacks the cohesiveness of last year's team.

*Stott's is using an inconsistent rotation. Last year it seemed to be pretty solid as to who was in and who was not, who got what minutes, who didn't

*Calabro and Hurd. I don't know if it's just that I miss Mike and Mike, but these two are not making watching the Blazers any better. Where as Mike and Mike were part of the game, they were like fans on the sidelines, they called out the refs when they saw something called wrong. They looked at controversial replays without pause. There was something tangible there. I am not even Sure Calabro and Hurd fit together. They sound like those couple people in ybe stands running their mouth all game that you want to yell shut up at.

Olshey, what's up? We have this bloated underacheiving roster. Are we not making moved because we want to wait it out, let the cake bake again, and shop heavy come the draft and off-season, it is it because we have a band of rejects that no one wants, that we are stuck with because we panicked this summer after losing out on all the A listers, and threw money in the air.

If you look at all the aspects of the team this year, the players, the coaches, the GM, and yeah even the commentators, there is a correlation, lack of identity. Which is Ironic in a season based on so much change, in fact a rebranding of identity. Yet, we are left without one. No wonder we are so frustrated.

not bringing in an elite big man coach... or defensive coordinator to help Stotts develop a defensive identity

The 4th quarter features opposing players that overachieve our team. No coaching strategies have been developed to correct this dilemma. We get pick and rolled so much its like a sad story over and over. .

I'm calling for a total ban on all Lakers fans from entering the MODA Center until we can figure out an "extreme" vetting process to neuter those mutherfuckers.

I want Stotts to change up post game interviews and get snarky sometimes after a loss..think it'd do him some good to get ejected from a game once in a while

Based on staff and players:

STOTTS
- His fluff offense wastes the shot clock, and make CJ and Dame expend energy by running all over the court
- His fluff offense bogs down in close games, which is why we lose so many close contests
- His defense is absolute shit, and he hasn't developed players defensively at all
- Speaking of player development, he doesn't develop players. Some seem developed because they're given a bigger role (Harkless), but when they get that bigger role taken away they go back to being shit

OLSHEY
- He had his hands tied this off-season. He needs to make big changes at the deadline to either add a 3rd big time player (Whiteside?) for the future, or to tank the rest of the season. If he doesn't, he needs to be fired. No changes = 8th seed, which is the worst case scenario.

LILLARD
- Lots of tough shots and seems to have lost his aggressiveness attacking the lane. Every year it seems like he loses acceleration throughout the season. Either he needs to find a way to maintain his legs or he needs to change his play style to be less reliant on acceleration.
- Still hasn't improved on defense, and it still doesn't seem like he's trying. His on-ball defense is usually adequate, but he's never in a stance while defending off the ball and never has his head on a swivel.
- Hasn't cussed out any of his teammates. He needs to be a tougher leader IMO. Not a buddy-buddy type guy.

MCCOLLUM
- Could pass the ball more, but I have no problems with him. I think he's our best player and he really looks like he's trying to improve defensively.

HARKLESS
- Been solid, but he needs to find a way to keep getting up tons of shots in practice, because he shot great at the start of the season because of a heavy diet of practice shots.
- Has disappeared since going to the bench.

AMINU
- Been absolute trash offensively. Makes more 3s when he rushes than when he takes his time. Shows that it's a mental thing.

CRABBE
- For a 6'6 wing with a 6'11 wingspan, athleticism, and a smooth game, he attacks the rim like he's paranoid that if he goes in their Bill Laimbeer will pop out of nowhere and kill him.
- If he's hit a few jumpers, then he'll have a sparkling drive and finish, but if he hasn't hit jumpers, he'll brick layups without hitting rim and shy away from ALL contact.
- Too jump-shot reliant.

TURNER
- He's been great lately. He's been what we payed him to be. Needs to only shoot 3s from the corners though.

PLUMLEE
- Shoots way too many 15 footers. Passes out when he has the ball 5 feet from the rim. He's just a soft big man that can't shoot IMO. His passing and athleticism is the only thing keeping him in the league.

LEONARD
- Plays like a pussy 4/5ths of the time then will remember he's 7'1 and dunk on someone.
- His shots turned to shit.

DAVIS
- Been bad. Should shed the muscle.

MCGOWAN
- Just seems like he's lost touch with the fanbase. He seems to be making changes just to make changes, which is annoying because Olshey says he doesn't want to make a trade just to make a trade when he just needs to make a fucking trade.

My list of grievances:
  • Overly dependent on points
  • Not FEEDING the BEAST
  • Inability to take whistles as they come
  • Taking it too easy during the regular season, expecting to "flip the switch" in the playoffs
  • Seriously, feed the beast
