So last fall, the Dons finished about where they always finish….no NCAA tourney invite of course. We/she knew going in that was going to be the situation. Programs track record actually didn’t play at all into her decision on where to play. But I think she got frustrated with her playing time during the season…..she’s kept her head up and has been putting in the work.
Spring season just started and thru 2 games she has 3 goals and 2 assists.
College game is different….these coaches love playing the seniors and graduate transfers for sure, so we will see how things go. Having a blast living life down there regardless…..oh yeah…..and STRAIGHT As! #DadBrag

Ouch! This could be a rough season! Looks like the Dons are tanking!

 
The Girl started, scored on a PK, but they lost. Man her teams defense lost some good players and looked real rough out there FAMS! Might have to have see if Toumani still has any college eligibility left. Maybe he can hit that portal.
 
It was BRUTAL. They got STOMPED! Only good thing that came from it, USF literally only had 2 good plays and she was involved in BOTH! #SIGH One of those kinda games you hope they learn from.

You’re telling me dawg. She said she was BEAT last night…..Soccer experts can help with with this one. The announcers kept talking about how USF dropped back with 5 defenders….they were so worried about Stanford’s attack. So my daughter said her and the other forward “chased” all game long. She said she ran 5 miles during the game according to her monitor. When they pack it in defensively like that I guess you just never have possession?
 
Hey. Haven’t had much to update on this season to be honest. Very strange couple months. After starting against #1 Stanford and looking good, the coach did a 180 and started playing some transfer kids. They had a huge upset over I think at the time #18 Texas Tech and she didn’t get much run that game. He has basically played those 11 players ever since. Only making a couple subs a game and my little one is barely playing. It’s been really challenging for my wife and I……. She seems to be taking it well. Which is surprising, because she has always been the star of her teams.
Life is going so well for her in every other aspect, she said she’s been OK with it actually. Loves school, the city, her teammates……So how can we be upset if she is so happy right? Her team is having a horrible season, so haven’t had much to update. Crazy how things work out, but if SHE’S happy, WE’RE happy!

I'm sorry to hear that. She clearly deserves to play (and would help the team) considering how well she played as a freshman.

Keep your head up Mom and Dad, she's doing awesome. We're all super proud of her. I update my daughters on how your daughter is doing all the time.

She'll get her chance and I know she'll be ready to meet that moment when it comes.
