[M Two One]

Well right now I'm in France and I don't get on too often so I'll report as much as I can in one sitting here. I bought myself a new cologne by Viktor and Rolf called Antidote for 60 Euros at the Sephora. I highly suggest it to those of you interested in that stuff.

A couple of days ago there was an Earthquake in the region. Nothing major for other places, but it shook the entire building and this old structure can't take much more then what took place at 4.3 on the Richter scale. It happened around dinner so it was even more of an awkward moment.

I climbed a mountain at 1000 meters near Lourdes (pictures). I also went through a tour of the local caves in the region, but picture taking was not allowed of course. I picked up the latest Luke album and finally got my hands on Sigur Ros' Takk album though it no longer comes in a special glass casing. No big deal really.

Other then a bunch of annoying dirt bikers and dog crap everywhere you go over here I'm doing fine. I can't find the time to do anything online these days so I appologize for not posting much or catching up with any of you. I'll be heading out to Biarritz (coastal city) in December to catch a rugby game with some excellent seats. I'll be taking a great camera with me so I can pick up professional snapshots as well as live action video. Be sure to look for that sometime next month.

Nice updates. It's kind of ironic how you got all those tornadoes in Illinois, and then you come to France to find an earthquake

Yeah it is quite ironic. I was thinking the same thing later that night and then I said to myself, "well only a few more natural disasters to experience and I have them all under my belt." Anyway, some pictures have been resized and will be posted up in a little bit.

You can take a train lift up to the top if you don't like the hike. I also was able to take a shot of a plane flying by at the top of the peak. What great luck I had that day.

What part of France are in? I always thought they didn't have earthquakes there.

Those are great pictures, sounds like you're making the most of your vacation. Are you going to get any skiing or snowboarding in while you're out there?

Salut!

Yeah actually France has minor Earthquakes in the region of Midi-Pyrenees and possibly others nearby. The region is located near Spain in the south. I'm in a city called Tarbes, which has one of the most beautiful parks in the world by record. They have all sorts of different animals there like peacocks and several breeds of duck. They also have a massive collection of different trees from all over the world. I have pictures, but I need more before I go ahead and post them up here. Expect those later next week or the week after depending on my free time.

Tarbes is located near Lourdes, the second biggest Catholic/Christian gathering place in the world. Thankfully the city is only busy during Spring and Summer so it is quite easy to get around near their mountainous landscape. I want to get deeper into Andorra; which is a small country located in the heart of the mountains, but the streets are dangerous this time of the year and you need chains on the car to get there. I'll have to pass until nxt time I get out during a warmer season.

I want to go skiing a bit actually, but I don't have the equipment for it and renting is too expensive in the region from what I know of. By the way Shape, I picked up that Gotan Project album. Thanks for the music suggestion. You should check out some of the stuff I've been picking up and already posted a while back in the music section of the forum.
