Hibbert for existing contracts. We have 43 mil in cap space. Leonard's max is 15 mil. Loves max is 20. We could even use 5 extra mil to spice up getting Hibbert

If we could swing Kawhi/Love/Hibbert I would nut.

Doesn't mean shit! Of course he's going to deny reports. All there doing is just trying to calm the fans & Media hype down.

What Olshey said was that he talked to LaMarcus, and LaMarcus told him that the reports are wrong, that he has not told anyone on the Blazers he is definitely leaving the Blazers. Olshey then said, LaMarcus has not told him or any other Blazers staff that he is definitely leaving the Blazers. Olshey then said, the Blazers intend to compete with other teams to sign LaMarcus.

No one said that LaMarcus is definitely NOT leaving the Blazers.

Except Strenuus. ;)

My gut is telling me that there is an 85% chance LaMarcus is a Blazer next season.

And I'm glad to see this conversation switch from the obsession with signing a big center to signing a top tier SF.

WIN!!!!

They're*

and it's 100% that he stays. I know you love when the sky falls, but join the happy side.

Olshey also mentioned last night that he talks to aldridge a couple times a week. I'm pretty sure those conversations have more to do with Olsheys plans in free agency and who LA would like to play with rather than contract discussions.

Dude, you've got bigger priorities than correcting the proper use of their/there/they're here. That's a full-time job, and I don't think Denny is prepared to flip those pockets inside-out.

So to summarize:

- Doesn't think anyone knows what LA will do, including maybe even LA himself.

- Thinks Matthews is gone. Doesn't think Allen will want to commit big money to another guy with an injury issue.

- Thinks Hibbert will be in play

- Thinks Blazers will emphasize players that can create their own shot off the dribble (only FA I can think of that fits this description is Monta)

- Some other names he mentioned as possibilities: Demarre Carroll, Ilyasova, Hinrich, JJ Barea, Ryan Anderson

- Dismissed Kevin Love as a possibility. Doesn't think he wants to play in Portland. (I disagree here, because he's such a good system fit, and not because he's from Oregon)
