Re: LMA in hospital with stomach virus!

and the craziest season ive ever seen continues.... maybe tonight brandon trots out there and scores 50 while diener hits the game winning three at buzzer

cue exorcist music please

By itself a little stomach virus is nothing at all, and tonight's game probably doesn't mean a whole lot in the grand scheme -- whatever happens we've got a difficult series ahead of us either against a red-hot Phoenix, a tough Utah team, or the Mavs who roughed us up in our last meeting on our own court -- but damn, just how many hits can one team take in a single season and still stay on its feet? (apparently the answer is 150,345).

Re: LMA in hospital with stomach virus!

Aint this a fucking kick in the head?

Re: LMA in hospital with stomach virus!

Collision fucked up LA's cranial flux capacitor, which impacted the levels of iron in the blood, which weakened LA to the point he couldn't fight this infection.

I just hope they save his vision by letting him rest. I predicted that this could happen yesterday, and clearly was on to something. :sherlock:

Re: LMA in hospital with stomach virus!

Stomach viruses by themselves are not such a big deal, but bad enough to be hospitalized?

Do I laugh or cry?

And if your head explodes with dark forebodings, too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

More than likely it's hospitalization so they can give some IV fluids. Speaking from experience, after getting a bug like that IV fluids make you feel great...hydration is a wonderful thing.

Re: LMA in hospital with stomach virus!

I wish I could understand the possible scenarios for who we face in the playoffs.... I want Dallas or Phoenix... if we need to win to face either of those teams, then I would hope we would try to win :)

Right now, 4 of the 8 possible outcomes result in us facing Utah, 2 result in us facing Phoenix, and 2 result in us facing Dallas. However, if we lose tonight, 3 out of 4 outcomes result in us facing Utah, with only one outcome (SA and Phx both win) resulting in a Dallas matchup.

There is a good chance that the Blazer game will be meaningless tonight. In fact Nate should know by game time if the Blazer game has meaning.

As I see it, if Dallas beats SA (which is likely), that will ensure the Blazers the 6th spot. Then it only comes down to the Phx-Utah game. The winner end up in 3rd place and plays the Blazers.

I don't know if you meant it on purpose, BGrantFan, but I loved the Collison = Collision reference. Well played.

LA is sick?...waaaaaa....

sickness should not hold him back from playing in this game...considering if we win we are for sure the 6th seed. ive seen players throw up in garbage cans on the sidelines and keep playing. suck it up lamarcus your playing to good right now to sit out over a little tummy ache

Yep. The best cure for a bad hangover, er, I mean a "stomach virus".

This is good news. I've been sick lately and what's great about being sick is it knocks you out and then builds you back up again and you feel great. LMA can get rested for the playoffs and I'm sure he'll be better by Friday. In the meantime, Juwan and Dante can hold down the fort just fine. A year ago, who would've predicted this would be our starting lineup on the last day of the season?

Andre Miller
Rudy Fernandez
Nic Batum
Juwan Howard
Marcus Camby

Has anyone else noticed how "stomach flu" and "food poisoning" suddenly strike major stars of teams each and every year starting right before the playoffs?

Even if we lose we are for sure the 6th seed. No use having LA infect the entire team.
