If the mother fucker was doing us a favor he would've allowed us to sign and trade him.... He wouldn't have blown smoke up our ass saying that he wanted to be the best Blazer ever...

Selfish, soft ass, ol' marginal contact ass muthafucka...

If only @dviss1 would actually take a side on this one way or the other and have a definitive opinion. :biglaugh:

After the 2013 season (I was thinking 2012 was Dame's rookie year, but it was 2012-2013) when there were rumors that he wanted out. That was the time to do it.

Not rumors.....I specifically posted this time after time. (albeit in another forum) You all just had to "believe harder".

Are you saying it was true, or that it wasn't true? I can't tell.

What did you hear about went down? (I don't visit RealGM)

Odd--I remember Aldridge being praised repeatedly for his ability to effectively cover point guards when switched out on them back when he was a Blazer (not by you, @dviss1--you've always maintained that he was a poor perimeter defender). Is this revisionist history on my part?

I know you're not saying he was good at guarding PG's. But If he was able to guard PG's back then, he certainly isn't now. Have you guys watched any of these games? He is solo slow, and almost uncoordinated. It's almost cringworthy.

Perhaps.
I know I was always expecting Lamarcus to become the greatest of the Blazers. He never did it.
In retrospect, he never came close. Now I don't know why I was expecting. Perhaps it is just the hope for the Blazers for a whole lot of years now.
Now it's Nurk.

He gained a considerable amount of weight during the off-season when he went to the Spurs. That's the reason why he's slower. But he was never able to guard point guards when he played for us. Just a poor Defender. The reason why he's such a poor off-ball Defender is because of his communication skills as he does not know how to communicate with the guard to stop from having to switch during pick-and-roll defense.

Pop's off-season plan:

1. Strangling LMA
2. Possibly retiring depending on the outcome of step 1.

Pritchard and Indiana will trade for him as their last-ditch effort to keep PG13. McMillan and Aldridge will be reunited again.

Indiana will send Al Jefferson to a 3rd team, and send SAS their 17th overall pick and a future pick. SAS will then sign a legit PF like Millsap or Griffin.

We should never have run Zbo out of town for this guy, in fact, I would welcome him back with open arms now that he's matured before I would even think of trading for LaBenedict.
Bullshit. Zach had to go, regardless of who made him expendable.

That's actually a fairly realistic idea.
I don't think that will keep PG13 in Indy, but they can say they at least tried.
