Since the first time I saw this emoticon, it's been my all time favorite and has never gotten old.
Especially because the code was :Maris61:

We got the guy who didn't think opt out clauses were a sign of commitment..LA has commitment issues. Dame is nothing like LamarcusWe got the guy with balls. Pop will need to figure out how to install some on LMA.
I got so mad at Parsons getting that tipin when Howard pretty much shoves two Blazers out of bounds, I told my wife to take our Daughter to the bedroom because "Im not a very nice person at the moment". When that shot went in I just threw my hands in the air and walked around my living room for 5 or so minutes.Well, I don't think anyone really expected it to go in. It completely caught everyone by surprise. I remember I was furious about how things had gone at the other end of the floor and I was fuming about how we were going to have to go back to Houston. I thought the series was basically over. Suddenly the shot goes in and I'm jumping up and down and crying.

I felt the same way. Still feel that way regardless if its true or not because it was damn true the refs heavily favored Houston in 08.Yup. I remember being furious about that play. I genuinely believe the refs were trying to screw us and Dame hitting a miraculous shot was the only thing that kept us from being knocked out in game 7.

I honestly don't know what kept me watching that final 0.9 second because I just KNEW the refs were going to job us again, but when Dame hit the shot I was literally...and I DO mean literally....struck speechless. As BG will attest, that is an extremely rare condition for me......Yeah that was awesome I was watching with two buddies at his house and we all started screaming. His wife came out and was mad for us being so loud with the baby down the hall than saw what happened and started yelling with us.
Lamarcus Aldridge is a giant bitch. Way more so than LeBron James."Best fans in the NBA," lol...

You hate James no? So why can't I hate a bigger bitch that's passive aggressive
Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, some of y'all are way too mad at LMA leaving. Get the fuck over it and move on. FFS the guy's only in his late 20s, do you really expect him to make super rational decisions? All the I-hate-LMA bricks that've been shit could build the house for his shoe collection. If you think he was our #2 (or 3,4,...) on the way to a ring, then you're delusional.
The rebuild is official, so just roll with it.
GO BLAZERS

I don't know what he could've said that would've made anyone happy. I can understand a certain degree of dissent after him playing here his first 9 years, but it's been obvious for a while that Lamarcus has an introvert personality, which doesn't really lend itself to huge fan-fare. I also think the whole "y'know " thing is a complete cheap shot for said reasons. Some people just never get used to getting nervous on camera or in front of large groups of people. Trust me, I know. I was a teacher for 4 years and I never got completely comfortable with speaking in front of a large group of people. The thing is, it's not about what he did, but HOW he did it. And what he's SAYING.

I honestly don't think LMA is trying to disparage Portland or any of us fans. I just think his word choice isn't what a lot of fans want to hear...
Anyhoo, GO 'ZERS!

That changes EVERYTHINGActually he's 30.
That changes EVERYTHING
Athletically this is true, but players who've avoided debilitating injuries to their joints are still generally pretty close to their peak at 30 plus they benefit from experience. Siting that reasoning, I heard Dr. Jack (among others) relay that a players peak years are between 28-32. 32 seems a threshold where the body can't take the pounding anymore and starts breaking down.It does. It's all down hill after 30.
He didn't burn any bridges. All the so-called "fans" self-immolating behind him burnt those bridges. It's WHAT he's saying.
The y'know thing was years ago, well before he left.
Anyway, He burned a lot of bridges here. And we do have -a lot- of bridges, so it's quite an accomplishment.
