WTF is a Clib? CLUB, DAMMIT



So we managed to score tickets to Dave Chapelle's late show last night. Packed house, yet somehow they sat us right next to LaMarcus. Dave, as expected, killed it. Towards the end of the show he invited everyone to Sassys (strip club on the east side), so we stumbled the 7 or 8 blocks, not expecting him to follow thru. Fast forward about a half hour. Dave Chapelle, LMA and about 30 of us are making it rain on a handful of strippers. Looks like I've peaked at 26.

Silly "news" like this is part of the reason it's hard to get players to Portland.
 
This post wasn't meant to be an anti-LMA thread. It was "huh, a Blazer player out and about last night". You think this doesn't happen in LA and NY? Shit, the paparazzi in Portland is kiddy play compared.
 
I am surprised he is still around. Thought he always went back to Texas when the season was over.
 
And people think Lamarcus isn't a superstar? Partying with Chappelle--that's top notch.
 
Bit of a bummer. Not because of his status as a Trail Blazer as much as it is inconsistent with some of her personal professions.
 
I actually think this is awesome. It always kinda bothered me that the notion was that lma kinda say in his house and didn't like Portland as a city. Getting portlandia... Going out to strip clubs with Dave chappelle who is a comedic legend of you ask me... Sounds like he's loosening up and enjoying his surroundings.
I am so mad I missed this I go to sassys a lot!!!

I love how people think that because Portland is a smaller NBA town, that the media somehow is the reason why players "don't want to come here".

Yeah, because the media treats players with kid gloves in LA and NY..
 
Wow, I think this is awesome! Most of the players seem to blow out of here pretty quick when the season is over. They miss out on just how great Portland can be in the spring and summer. Nice to see LMA stick around a little.

And strip clubs are a Portland institution.
 
Dude. It's Portland. I am almost sure every trailblazers in the last 15 years has gone to a strip club here. It's like the city's version of Disneyland.

Portland has been the strip club capitol of the nation since the 1930's.

He has at least one kid and if he isnt married then the mother and him are still close because he talks about going home to see her and his son a lot
