I loved LMA when he played here. I was his biggest fan. I even wanted to go to that rally to keep him in Portland (had other obligations though).

But...then I started to see him sulking during the playoffs against Memphis, and then I watched how he handled his departure, and I was insulted. His attitude since he's left has been one big "fuck you, Portland", and each article about him seems to confirm this.

9 years he spent here, and all we get is an agent-written letter of goodbye that's barely a paragraph long? Fuck you, Aldridge.

If Portland isn't in it, then I'll root for Cleveland, regardless of LBJ. The Cavs came into the league the same year we did and have taken it in the shorts at least as many times as we have over the years. Those poor fans deserve a championship. As bad as it was when LeBron left, their best chance until now was in the late '80s and early '90s when they had Brad Daugherty, Larry Nance, Terrell Brandon, Mark Price, the late Hot Rod Williams, Craig Ehlo and more. They even had Steve Kerr. Lenny Wilkens was the coach. They were one of the best teams in the league, played a great style of ball and were a class group of players. They were touted as perennial contenders. But when Daughtery's wheels fell off, so did the team's wheels. It was sad to see and that was one time I felt genuine sympathy for an opponent. Because we had been their ourselves. I'm not particularly in love with a lot of the current Cavs players, but their real fans have earned a ring for keeping the faith these past 46 years.

Ohio has had a ton of baseball and college football success over the years though..their fans have had success even if not in basketball. The Buckeyes and the Indians were successful....just not the Browns or Cavs..I don't like the Cavs team much...JR Smith, Kevin Love and LBJ...I'd rather see the Hornets win or the Raptors before them.
