Jkidd did get destroyed once again .. no surprise. Mavs are horrible and should "rebuild" how ironic.
 
that has got to hurt...a 1st rd exit...chris paul registering a triple double, a jkidd specialty...pargo, the guy he tried to paralyze scores 17 on him on 7 of 9 shooting...and the killer...byron scott is coach of the year! well, there's always next year...i don't really care what happens to the mavs next year since we'll only be getting their 2nd round pick, other than a losing season might trigger a rebuilding (perfect time too, since jkidd's $20M salary will come off the books)...just in time for the mav's UNPROTECTED 2010 pick they gave us...

Karma is a bitchh. At first it hurt that he left us, but then i realized that it was the right thing to do. Just like when Kmart got signed by Denver. Thorn is a genius when it comes to trading.

That was the figure thrown around in reports at the trade deadline: that if the Mavs could acquire him, Cuban would give him a $20 million, two year extension. Nets refused to give him the extension. Mavs can give him an extension starting July 1. Imagine if you will giving Kidd that much money after this season. I hope it happens. Because that would mean the Mavs would be hamstrung with bad contracts in 2010 when the Nets have the Mavs' unprotected first round pick.

(I could never understand how that wasn't tampering: offering a player $20 million if somehow he can force his way off one team and on to another.)

sorry...there is no 2nd rd pick...that was on the original deal but not the final one...

its 2010 because the mavericks made the playoffs this year...woulda been 2011 if they didnt.
