No need to apologize. I just don't understand what any of this has to do with the local media. There are plenty of negative Nancies in the local media. Guys like Jaynes and Canzano rip on the team every chance they get.

If you're upset that no one in the local media seems to agree with your opinions, don't be. Those same guys, Jaynes and Canzano, are also widely considered to be idiots and despised around here.

Personally, I'd be more worried and more offended if the guys in the local media actually agreed with my opinions. To me, that would be cause for concern.

Some of the local media will just ignore you or belittle you on the air, because your opinion is different than theirs ( which is their right, its their platform). I am just learning my way around the Twitter world and the Local Sports Media.

No one, NOONE was taking Durant except maybe Orlando. As for Giannis he went 15th for a reason, no one was sure he could really play. Its pretty insane to bring up people the Blazers passed on when they werent a top pick like no other team passed on them as well, there are reasons someone like Curry fell or Draymond/Giannis and for as many superstars that fall late there are 100x more busts that showed "insane" potential.

Lillard can be compared to their 3rd or 4th wheels, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson and you can make the argument that even those 2 are better than Dame.

14 teams passed on Giannis. Did you think he was gonna be good before the draft? No, you probably didn't even know who he was. The drafts a crapshoot, and we got the 2nd best player at #10, so that draft was a good one...

What we do know is that Oden had serious red flags on his physical with the Blazers, problems that they chose to ignore. If the other 28 teams in the NBA had a chance to do a complete physical on Oden I'm not so sure all of them would have taken him.
