HAHAHAHA Didn't you guys also lose in your bowl game? Oh yeah they didn't even show up to make it a game.

Sorry, but at least the Ducks made it a game against a better team than BYU.

Dude, the conditions in Vegas made it impossible to play any "normal" football game. Had we had conditions like the Ducks had I firmly believe we would have won. The Ducks have been talking trash for a month and now they have to shut the fuck up!

While I'm all about the orange and black, best to MrJay, Wheeler and other Duck fans (at least the ones who have an iota of class). Gotta be a bummer, but it's huge you made it to the Rose Bowl.
 
This was a very close game with both teams playing hard. For the 3rd straight game, it was neck and neck the entire night...it just didn't go Oregon's way this time. But if we had to lose this game, this is exactly how I would've wanted to go out: fighting hard until the end. And I give a lot of credit to Ohio State: Tressel and his staff had a great game plan and kept our offense off the field, Pryor played the game of his life, and their defense performed as well as any against the Ducks this year.

Despite the loss, I'm extremely proud of Chip Kelly and this Oregon team, and I'm not going to let this loss define our fantastic season. To come back and win the Pac-10 by two full games after the opening night disaster was nothing short of remarkable. Best of all, there's no reason why the Ducks can't be even better next year, and I fully suspect that they will be. Our O-Line is improving, we're returning lots of key defensive players, Masoli is still as dangerous as any QB in football, James is a beast....and how about Kenjon Barner?! One of the most underrated players in the Pac-10 imo.

And for you Beaver fans talking smack, at least the Ducks fought hard to the end and didn't give up after the first sign of adversity. Your team went out as an embarrassment, plain and simple. The Beavs have a lot of work to do this off-season, and with their early schedule, they better make the most of it.

Actually you guys got your ass kicked. 26-12 in 1st downs and 419-260 in total yards. That's domination.

The Beavs have everybody back except quarterback and Katz will be fine there. I can't wait for the Ducks to come to Corvallis next season!

Beaver fan, who just got whooped in a secondary bowl, by a mid-major team, following two civil war spankings, is talking trash...

The "we have everyone back argument" doesn't work against the Ducks, because they do too (including their QB).
 
I'm a Beaver fan and I don't talk trash. Almost every Duck fan I know does. It is really hard to accept that some Duck fans aren't douche bags. You make it easier Wheels.

I think most fans notice the loud minority of their rival teams fans who act like d-bags. I used to think all Beaver fans either talked trash, had an inferiority complex, or blinded hated the Ducks... However, when I really look, the majority of them are normal folks with a realistic perspective of their team and their biggest rival as well. I don't think Duck fans are any different...

:cheers: I try what I can.. Trash talk is weak IMO. And people who "cant" cheer for another team for conference.. thats fine by me. I just find it pathetic when another teams loss is a victory for them. Not you.. I havent ever seen you or most fans on here do that. One thing is for sure though, the Pac 10 needs to re-group and do better next bowl season. I'm sure we can all agree on that. :sigh:

I always end up saying this when I'm explaining things, but I'm 17, almost everyone I know is a douche bag lol. But I know what you're saying.. I may know 1 or 2 Duck fans that aren't completely unbearable. :devilwink:

Honestly, it was too hard for me to cheer for the Ducks after the embarrassment that was the MAACO Bowl, so I was content when Ohio State won, but I didn't see it as a victory for me. It just kinda eased the blow of the Beavers losing so badly.. The Pac-10 has been downright embarrassing this bowl season though, I hope it doesn't lead to everyone disrespecting it next year.

I can understand easing the blow part.. but to downright treat it like you won the Rose Bowl would be what annoys me lol. I dont think it will be disrespected though next year... The teams will be even better win more maturity. This conference will be even deeper next year.

Oh yes a 9 point loss in a seesaw game that wasn't over until late 4th quarter clearly = domination. Those categories are such awesome indicators of the game too...I mean just look at the MAACO Bowl: 17-18 first downs, 305-308 total yards!!! Thus it must've been a REALLY close game, right?!?! :lol:

Yeah that annoys me too, even if they are fellow Beaver fans. Next year should be interesting, to say the least.
 
It must suck to be irrelevant.

It's ok, you can take your frustrations out on us. Was a pretty good season, but this program is at a level where we should be in the BCS conversation every year.

Can't wait til next year. Only losing 3 starters.

P.S. -- It feels good to be hated. Similar with the Blazers... they start caring when you shine. Huge national exposure this year, should only improve as well. Not even really worried about that anymore. Hell, I saw "Oregon Ducks" on the top 10 daily searches for Yahoo like 5 or 6 times this year (obviously much more if you count "Rose Bowl" and stuff like that... even "LaGarrett Blount" LMAO -- he was on there twice, once after the sucker punch, once after his re-instatement I believe)... :dunno:

Edit - Wasn't TLong the one that said... "No. We want to throw the last stone. Really"... and I responded, "Yes, just like last year?" Of course, it happened just like last year. Now here he is, laughing at the ducks for losing a Rose Bowl and making excuses why the Beavers lost their bowl game.

I'm a Beaver fan. And to be honest I actually rooted for the Ducks in the Rose Bowl. Of course I wasn't too sad when they lost though. :lol:

Well said.. although I wouldnt say the School they support or their football program is irrelevant. Just a few fans who look pathetic ;)
