London Sees Nets-Heat Game as Olympic Tune-Up

On Sunday, the Olympic torch will begin its journey from Beijing to London, site of the 2012 Games, and British officials are pointing to the Nets’ October 12 game with the Heat as an Olympic tune-up for the city. The game will be held at the O2 Arena, where hoop teams will battle at the 2012 Games. London also plans a two-day “Central Court” event at the South Bank Centre prior to the Nets game.

Because, ya know, these are Olympics basketball-level teams.

I'm willing to place bets that this will be twice as exciting in the arena than the average Nets game for the whole year at IZOD

Well, considering that it's the Nets and Heat, don't get too excited.

But, you also have a game with Wade, Carter, Harris, Beasley, D.Wright, Dooling, etc. so it could be semi-exciting.
