This is not the last time I'll call Ball an overrated scrub, but it is your last chance to jump off the hype train if you are on it... That's being generous, you should probably know by now how inconsistent this guy is.

He's 18 bro. In today's media, I think ANY player you've heard of at a young age is overrated. He has Kidd like court vision. He will have a tough year, because he doesn't have much help on that roster, but he will be a damn good player. I think you hatred of all things Purple and Gold is blinding your common sense sir.
 
On the contrary, I still think Randle has HOF potential that is not being utilized in LA. Likewise Ingram will be a solid player, and Clarkson is solid as well. Lonzos shot is so ugly it makes you wanna slap yo momma. He can pass, but he's hardly the play setter that an elite passing guard like CP3/Nash are. He's got a much longer road to "damn good" than you and most of the media seem to believe. I shit my pants laughing when I saw how many picked Lonzo to win ROY.

Ya I don't think he'll win ROY for sure. But you say he has a long time til......shit he was playing against 14 year olds just 16 months ago.

Correct, in 18 years of his life he's developed a stroke that makes the Matrixes jumper look like MJ. So maybe by the time he's 36 he will actually have a shooting form that allows him to be consistent.

It has nothing to do with his lineage or the team he plays for and everything to do with the fact that I feel he's overrated as a basketball player.

And again, you wouldn't be hating on him if it wasn't for his father. Lonzo by all accounts is a past first teammate, unselfish, well spoken, and a good kid.

If calling him an overrated scrub is "so much vitriol" then sure, but I don't remember you getting bent out of shape when I said the same of Austin Rivers many moons ago, and even he has slightly surpassed expectations in the last lesson.

I honestly think you are just over reacting. I'm not sitting here in anger typing shit out. I just think he's overrated AF. And I didn't carve out a space for one of your posts, I'd just remember if you had gone this bat shit over my opinion on who is overrated before. It's not just your opinion I have a problem with. It's everybody in here that hates on Lonzo because his dad is an ass hat. If his dad wasn't talking all that shit and he didn't play for the Lakers, none of y'all would have anything to say.

The fact that y'all can't see this is pretty telling to me. You aren't the only one I'm talking to.

The non stop love and hype on the broadcast makes the game hard to even watch. His game so far tonight is pretty meh.
 
Lonzo will be alright he playing hardest position in the game. He will learn through out this year. He does stick his nose in the game and he already good rebounder for being point guard.
 
It's a good thing he passes because that Jumper wouldn't pay the bills.

The fact that some people say negative things about him because of his father doesn't necessarily mean that everyone who says negative things about him is doing so for that reason.

You're making a lot of assumptions about Fonz's motivations, but you're coming off a lot more prejudiced than he does.
