We already have three pronouns that serve the purpose: "he" (masculin), "she" (feminine), and "he" (neuter). Just because "he" and "he" are spelled the same doesn't make them the same "word". (See read-read, tear-tear, fair-fair, lie-lie, bass-bass, bow, bow, bow, etc.). Because there are so many panties in a bunch over the spelling of the neuter pronoun "he", and I'm sick of hearing about it, I'm ok using "they" or something.
