Well im a metal head at heart so drop D is always fun, but I probably play more in standard tuning

Wrote some stuff, not for a while though...play some piano, and a mean kazoo...Cant sing and play guitar at the same time...lol

Edit: Oh shit, I see in the post above that you said you can't solo. Bummer. With those chops you just need to get your left hand trained. Just sit in front of the TV and run scales to get your dexterity better. Mix in some sweep picking to change it up & you'll be good to go in a few months.

Fixing a bridge is a bitch. I just resprung my Ibanez's floyd rose bridge down to drop C. It sounds hella sick with the active EMGs that I stuck in there. Only problem is that it's now stuck that way. I need to get a string through body some day so I can switch tunings easier...or just get a new guitar for every tuning that I like to play.

You can't be a metal head and NOT solo. You best be puttin some work in on that. Your rhythm is hella tight. I can't believe that you can't shred.

Being self taught doesnt help...I always feel im so far behind so why bother(great attitude)....or "I know my fingers will never get that fast".....ugh

I actually fixed my bridge pretty easily, (But I also like being McGyver) just some time and patience....took two pieces of hardwood, and electric sander and a dremmel, do the bridge piece first to set the bridge height you want then the 2nd piece to hold in place
