Now Cage that should Definitely be different.....

2015 = Sabathia, Tanaka, Pineda, Eovaldi & Nova

2016 = Sabathia, Tanaka, Pineda, Eovaldi & Severino.

Eovaldi could be headed for another surgery for all we know. I don't like the sound of what's going on with him.

Sadly for the most part there's really not a whole lot to look forward to for next season as we (in all likelihood) will be fielding pretty much the same team.

Brings to mind the SNL cast of 1985, when no cast members were signed beyond One Year, and no one returned......but, that's not the case...

...like Tote and I were discussing, if he's bound for a 2nd TJ procedure the success rate is not nearly as good.

"Things are not progressing well for Yankees righty Nathan Eovaldi, as Brendan Kuty of NJ.com reports. Eovaldi is still experiencing soreness in his pitching elbow despite a two-week layoff. At this point, Eovaldi may not have much chance of being ready for the start of the postseason and could ultimately be shut down entirely, GM Brian Cashman indicated."
