The problem is that Stotts seemingly refused to give the Collins/Nurk pairing much of a chance to see how it would work. I still don't understand why he wouldn't go to that more throughout the season.
I think a lot of NBA coaches are hard to understand. The "trust" thing is one aspect that fans find hard to figure out (at least I do), especially for a role player. Even if player A is better overall, or is more complementary to the lineup, the NBA coach might still go with player B because they "trust" player B, or don't "trust" player A.
 
Jesus. These takes you'd expect from an outsider. Not someone who follows the team on a daily basis. These two series wins were about as legit as possible. We faced two teams that were at full strength and beat them. One which required a game 7 win on the road in elevation.

Fluke my ass.
All of those things are right. The Blazers can beat OKC and Denver in a playoff series, but aren't close to beating Golden State.
