Just looking in some different categories of raw numbers. I will admit, looked at this with an Ant vs. Dame eye.
Points: Dame is our top point producer in spite of having played 10 fewer games than #'s 2 & 3 (Grant, Simons)
Rebounds: Dame with 8 more rebounds than Ant in 10 fewer games.
Steals: Despite playing 10 fewer games, Dame only has two less steals than Ant. Hart easily in front.
Blocks: Again, despite 10 fewer games, Dame has one more block than the more athletic Ant. Eubanks easily in front followed by Nurk.
According to some, Dame may be "washed" or on the "downside" of his career but when you compare him to Ant, I see nothing that gives me any reason to think Ant should be a key part of our future. Sporadic scoring and really not much else. Offense doesn't flow as well with him running the show. I see nothing in him that gives me warm fuzzies. Anyone can sporadically have good scoring games but there are many players out there who will give you a better all-around game.
