If New Orleans and OKC hold onto their big halftime leads, it doesn't matter if we beat Utah. We're playing New Orleans and we have HCA. Either 3/6 or 4/5. How do you guys feel about this?

Getting #3 seed is still important in terms of the second round matchup. If the Blazers advance, they will likely lose in the second round either way, but I would rather roll the dice against the wounded Warriors.
I think I agree.

Sure it is. We can start talking about our first round matchup.
No, no we can't. Nothing has been finalized yet, this is pure speculation based on what you believe will be the outcome of games with a little under 24 minutes left to be played.

Pelicans up 20, OKC up 24. I said "looks like."

If OKC chokes here, we play SA or Denver:

**Portland wins, NO wins, Memphis wins, Minn wins

3. Portland 49-33

4.Utah 48-34

5. NO 48-34

6. SA 47-35

7. Minnesota 47-35

8. OKC 47-35

If we lose, we play NO with HCA

If Denver wins in this scenario...

3. Portland 49-33

4.Utah 48-34

5. NO 48-34

6. Denver 47-35

7. SA 47-35

8. OKC 47-35

Total Jinx thread.
Portland needs to win a game.
Without any major injuries!

We don't need to win at all. OKC and NO won. If we win, we have HCA we're playing NO. If we lose, we have HCA and we're playing NO.

Portland does need a win. Entering the Playoffs on a 5 game losing streak doesn't exactly boost one's confidence.
who cares. I dont want GS if we advance, And i want us to be fully rested

This is what happens if we win or lose and if Denver wins or loses:

**Portland wins, NO wins, OKC wins, Minn wins

3. Portland 49-33

4. OKC 48-34

5. Utah 48-34

6. NO 48-34

7. SA 47-35

8.Minnesota 47-35

If Denver wins in this scenario..

3. Portland 49-33
4. OKC 48-34
5. Utah 48-34
6. NO 48-34
7. Denver 47-35
8. SA 47-35

**Utah wins, NO wins, OKC wins, Minn wins

3. Utah 49-33

4. Port 48-34

5. NO 48-34

6. OKC 48-34

7. SA 47-35

8. Minnesota 47-35

If Denver wins in this scenario:

3. Utah 49-33

4. Port 48-34

5. NO 48-34

6. OKC 48-34

7. Denver 47-35

8. San Antonio 47-35

The Jazz have a lot more riding on this game and have been playing much better. Hope the Blazers show up.

How does that work? If we have the 3 seed we play 6 and and if we have 4 we play 5. What am I missing? How can NO move depending on what the blazers do?
