If we win (and thus Utah loses), NO is 6th but if we lose (and thus Utah wins), NO is 5th.

Because of how three way ties would shake out. If we win, NO has the worst three way tie score (because Utah is in the three way tie) and gets 6th seed. If Utah wins, NO has the middle three way tie score because we’d be in the tie instead of Utah, so they get 5th seed.

I think I agree with you. But then the Warriors are the champs. I'd hate to risk an injury tonight but I want 3rd seed too. I want to end season on a good note.

We don't need to win at all. OKC and NO won. If we win, we have HCA we're playing NO. If we lose, we have HCA and we're playing NO.

I'm willing to bet not only you but just about every fan and player and coach that is pulling for this team is in a much better spot seeing a few shots fall and them play solid defense that lead to a good win.

Not sure who said that, but to be fair, they only finished 3 games from being last in the Division and out of the Playoffs. Denver is out of the Playoffs but only missed the #4 seed by 2 games. Just a big jumble of mediocre teams. Glad the Blazers made the Playoffs but if they just go 10-3 during that 13 game winning streak, they don't make the post-season.

Well yeah. If they lost more games that would be bad. But if they won more games then that would be good right?
