He may have had a couple of bad games last week, but his 10 and 7 performance in Toronto helped keep Brook Lopez’s stock high in the weekly rookie rankings. Lopez remains in the #3 spot on Sports Illustrated’s list and #7 on ESPN’s. Meanwhile, Ryan Anderson has moved up to #17 on ESPN. Among the 2008 draft class, Lopez ranks #4 and Anderson #14 on ESPN’s list, not bad for guys taken at #10 and #21.

We need Brook to keep advancing and getting better. If he woks on his post moves more and more he will be unstopable once he gets the respect from the refs.

I say he also should work on his jumper. With such a soft touch he should be hitting more of those 10-15 feet jumpers.
