Already 2-2. I have a feeling these games will be high scoring.

I am not watching it. I am not going to watch something I loved die in front of me.

Baseball is by far my least favorite of the major sports, but it doesnt seem like its in that bad of a position. It seems to be doing ok...

I wouldn't know. All I know a mob of idiots destroyed any love I had for it. I don't know anybody who likes it. Nor do I care.

It's old. It's slow. It's not cool enough. So fine. Fuck it. Let it die. I just don't want to hear about it any more.
Alright...

Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie & Chevrolet !
Man those were the days...

Go Dodgers

I'm a Giants fan, so naturally, I'm rooting for Boston. That, and I have a friend of mine who's a HUGE Red Sox fan; 19 years old and has season tickets in box seats. He's there right now, in fact.

But ultimately, I don't give two shits about this series. UrinatingTree on YouTube did a great video about this series, basically saying "everyone loses". It's two of the most unlikable teams and fan bases in baseball. And I agree.

Bump! Buehler is throwing a no hitter right now. He's throwing some heat!

It's super weird being in London right now and if I go on ESPN they don't have the World Series anywhere on the front page. I have to go find MLB on their league tab and it's like the 6th one down. Baseball isn't even remotely popular over here. I should have known but it was still surprising.

Damn. I actually am pulling for LA fans. They want a WS more than anything down there.

Muncy deserves that walk off HR. From a guy that was almost out of the league and not expected to make the opening roster, to a world series hero. Can't write a better sports story than that.

That was a long ass game.

Yeah. People complain about how long baseball is and then the same people watch it anyway and say how much they love, "playoff baseball."
There is not a bigger catharsis in American sports. But heck, I don't care. I don't even watch the game anymore.

That game is gonna mess up the bullpens for tomorrow night's game (tonight's game).

Dodgers are my team, but I was nearing the point where I was ready for it to end no matter who ended up on top. Almost. If it would have gone 20 innings, I think that would have been my breaking point. Dodgers are frustrating the way they live and die by the long ball. A little like the Blazers and the 3 ball....err...swish3 ball. Still, I think Dodger Stadium will be the RedSox hitters kryptonite. They didn't look like the same set of hitters that they did in Boston. Maybe this thing goes 7 after all. Figure the loser in an 18 inning affair will be hurting the worst for game time tomr. Muncy's walk off will be the signature moment from the game, but the guy I'll remember is the middle reliever who threw 100 pitches and was hitting 97 mph on the 97th pitch. Who is that guy?

One other thought, I'm a Dodgers fan, but if I was watching this game in public I'd have been a little embarrassed by the home crowd. There is absolutely no way a single seat is empty if the game is played in Boston. Even on a school night, the kids would be forced to cheer loudly at 3:00 AM. Big difference in fandom for sure. No doubt Dodgers and Laker cross-over.

That's how LA fans are.

Yeah, even the players were calling out the fans in the Brewers series. It's not like they've been here before a whole lot.

I have seen them walk out of Laker games with 4-5 minutes left in a close game. They're shitty fans.

Anyone watch Muncy's post game interview? Holy shit. He was talking about the Dodgers' starter for game 4, Rich Hill, and accidentally called him by his secret off-air nickname: Dick Mountain.

Best nickname in sports.
