I don't know where to begin...that was UNREAL. The best Finale in the history of finales....wow, discuss... :worthy: I know you saw it, Combs.
 
It was so weird.<span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'>At first I was all pissed at the end when they went back to Jack's gay story, then I realized it was in the future. That is really weird, I wonder how they are going to take off from that next season. Maybe either find a way back to the island or just show how their new lives turned out. It seemed like either Jack was the only one hating it, or everyone might have liked it better on the island.</span>
 
<span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'>I actually liked Jack's story, but it was kind of scary seeing him like that especially after being rescued....that's interesting. He's such a strong character but he sorta just broke down....And lol, I know it's been a while but they didn't even TRY to conceal Walt's age.</span>
 
<span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'>I was really surprised to see Walt. I wonder is Ben was lying when he said she was a fake, or telling the truth. Actually I think he lied about that because he could explain 'why they aren't supposed to leave the island'.</span>

I actually thought they killed my favorite character, Sayid. I'm glad they didn't. Oh my god, we seriously have to wait until January to see what happens. I'll probably get the 3 season DVD's before and rewatch them.So many deaths in this episode and Desmond misses out on talking to Penny again, but see, Ben might have been right. If it wasn't the ship Penny sent, they were there for a different reason. I'm going to miss Tom, but good riddance to Mickael. I knew Locke would come back, but I wonder what he did after he left....</span>

Him running over that guy in his little van was awesome. It wasn't really Desmond's destiny to stay there after everyone left though I don't think. Well this isn't completely WTF, it kind of makes sense. How did they get off the island? No idea but I definitely don't think that EVERYBODY got off the island...maybe just Jack and Kate and a few more.Then you have the different time diminsion thing when they returned. This is why Jack's dad is still alive. This is why Kate isn't in jail. Maybe they altered events of the world.But Yeah how did Penny know Desmond was still alive? Simple..Because Jack told her because they have similar goals..to find the island. Go she probably funded their mission to go back. Remember season 2 at the end with the guy in the boat? We never saw him and when he was talking about him he was really messed up from the drugs. Looking at the other doctor's faces when he mentioned his dad, it's pretty obvious to me he isn't alive. I think it's a mixture of the drugs and his problems with his dad haunting him.About Kate, it may have just been that the jury felt bad for her. Being a survivor when everyone thought they were dead and everything she went through. Not sure if any jury would sentence her to a long time in prison after everything.I thought it was Sawyer in the casket at first, but after thinking about it and reading other opinions, it's Ben probably. When Kate said "he's waiting for me" or "he'll be wondering where I am" I don't remember what she said, but I think she was referring to Sawyer...maybe they are together now. And when that guy asked Jack if it was a friend or family member, he said neither, and with Kate not being there I doubt it was Sawyer. I think it maybe be Ben because of the disgusted look on Kate's face when Jack asked why she wasn't there. I think Jack was there because he misses the island, but mostly because what Ben said was right and he felt bad about not believing him. And on arizonasportsfans.com, someone put up a screenshot of the newspaper article about the death of this person and it said it was probably a suicide. So it has to be Locke or Ben because of the fact that they couldn't bear to be off the island.Anything is possible at this point.</span>
 
Eh I don't think it was Locke or Henry the most really, if they got rescued why would they even leave the island? They could stay if they wanted too. It could be Locke..but I 100% doubt Henry.And sure she could be talking about Sawyer..but that seems to obvious to me.And no jury would feel sorry for Kate enough to allow her to stay out of jail. She was a killer... And the only reason I question weather or not Jack's dad is truly alive is because I think if he was..things would be different..they probably would have reconciled and things would have been better for Jack..not worse. Changing the past and fate though makes a lot more sense to me. From that it would appear Kate's life got better and Jack's got worse.
 
Changing the past makes more sense than everything happening normally?I really think it's Ben, but who knows? It could be someone insignificant just to throw us off like they do....<span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'>Jack could've forced Ben to come just to shove it in his face that they won and he lost. Or else if Ben was right about Naomi's group they could've forced them all out and done something...I really don't know.</span>

He got shot and would have been killed if he hadn't been on the island so maybe when he came back he was re-paralyzed and killed also.This episode definitely got you thinking.Now to Google LOST theories :)EDIT: How do you think they found all of the bodies and the plane though?
 
I think he said that because his dad always had drinking problems and it went back to that flashback he had with his dad doing a surgery drunk. That still doesn't prove he's alive now. And he still got those looks of pity from others when he said that.Locke was one of my options behind Ben. Locke really didn't die, he had to get on that plane in real life so he was only paralyzed. But from that article it could have been him because he couldn't take being paralyzed again and killed himself. Darn, I couldn't find that screenshot of the article.
 
Oh, and the Others do seem to have some great technology so it's a possibility that they could have set up a fake crash site to fool the real world so they wouldn't come looking for them. I don't know...

That's just part of the mystery, but I would think they get some from <span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'>after they killed the Dharma Initiative people</span> and from some people they recruit.
 
OK I have been thinking and just came to the conclusion of something else...When Ben says if you make that call you'll be killing 40 people..he's right. Why is he right? Because they were all suppose to die. And as we learned from Desmonds episode the world has a course of self correcting. But somehow when they are on the island they all are in this time loop, or hidden dimension of some sort which allows them to live.However, once they get off this Island..they will all eventually die. This explains the coffin, and somebody dying. This explains why Jack is probably going nutzo...and also why he was going to kill himself...it would also explain why he wants to go BACK to the Island.P.S. Stop the spoiler quotes damnit, we all seen the show! If somebody hadn't and wanted to and didn't wanna be spoiled I doubt they'd click this thread
 
That's a possibility. Maybe they all die in a sort of order like in Final Destination? I hope not, because the Final Destination story got old after the 2nd one so I would not like to see the self-correcting stuff continue.
 
This show is like M. Night Shyamalan x 100000000000000000000000000000000.Is that many plot twists per show a good thing to you guys?
 
I love it. Some don't because of all the unanswered questions, but they have answered some and the rest just really get you thinking and makes it the most fun show to talk about with all the different theories. With the last episodes of this season I think they showed that they know where they are headed and they set a deadline to finish the series in 2 more seasons I think so I know they'll end up answering most things near the end.

I love Lost, it sucks it's gone until next fall but that was a great season final. I can't wait till the show comes back on, now they are off the island and all.
 
Well, you don't know if they are off the island yet. There may be many things left to do on the island but with more flash-forwards. I'd like to see them off. I think they will be for a lot of it since Walt and Michael are going to be back in it. And it's not next fall, it's winter...ugh.

Because people have died on the island. People who were and weren't on the crash. There are just 'special' people on the island like Locke, Ben, Walt, etc.EDIT: Saw this on lost-theories.com. It is a picture of the satellite phone connecting.http://img470.imageshack.us/my.php?image=satphonefz3.pngNotice how it is connecting to somewhere in the western US (most likely L.A.) meaning that either they are really close to LA or she wasn't connecting to a 'nearby ship'.
