That can't be right. $43 for an NBA season ticket? I don't care how bad they are. That's insanity.

They might be selling tickets for $1? Must be desperate to put bodies in the seats.

The few times I've been to Charlotte's arena there has only been about 4,000 fans in the stands.

Would you rather have Portland get #3, and the Nets get #1, or just have #6 and #11?

You gotta take #3, as there is a real drop off after that. Not to mention, NJ getting #1 would mean we are in this same position next year, which wouldn't be a horrible thing if it means adding MKG/Beal/T-Rob this year.

We would really lose on the Wallace trade if it went to next year and NJ leverages the pick into Howard/Dwill. But, I think I agree. I would rather have the third pick too.

If we get 3 and suck next year as well, then we could potentially have two very good lottery picks back to back. If not, our pick next year goes to Charlotte. This a great question, but almost impossible to answer because right now, Chad is in charge, and I have no faith in him with either scenario

We traded away next years pick to Charlotee, but I think it was lottery protected? I can't remember exactly but I want to say it was top13 protected.

Yes. I was thinking 12. That's what I was trying to say. If we suck next year as well then we get the lottery pick, but if not we don't have a pick

Can we still post good luck charms?

Part of my Rose Garden.

Remember when the Blazers started the season in Japan? I brought them this for their first US game. It says "Welcome Home TrailBlazers" in Japanese. Because we want the Blazers back home in the playoffs ... and Finals.

The lottery show is 5:00-5:30 Pacific Time. Astrology says that is a time of bad surprises for many.

I predict that we get, give, or see a bad surprise during that period.

Since you've covered all the bases, I'm going to have to agree with you.

Way to go out on a limb.

I'm afraid it's much worse than that. PapaG will go ballistic and sue the board, not for someone having a bad avatar, but for someone reproducing an entire article.

Gonna' wear my lucky underwear to this party! Same ones I was wearing 5 years ago!

Is it #1 or bust for the Blazers?

They could still get the #2 or #3 pick with their current #11 pick, right?

I just played the draft lottery simulator 30 times in a row and NJ didn't get to keep their pick even once. The Blazers moved up a couple of times to the 2nd pick as well. Good sign.

There's always a chance. A tiny sparkle remains, yeah. And sparks turn into flames.

I'm actually looking forward to the lottery. At least I don't know how it will end up, unlike the last 40 games of the Blazer season.

Man, over an hour away, at work and not worth a damn. Cant wait to see how we do. Come on ping pong balls!

SECAUCUS, NJ - MAY 22: Rich Cho, Assistant General Manager for the Seattle Supersonics and Kevin Pritchard, General Manager for the Portland Trail Blazers hold up their lucky charms prior to the 2007 NBA Draft Lottery on May 22, 2007 at the NBATV Studios in Secaucus, New Jersey

Is this going to be the lottery play-by-play thread, or will HCP allow someone else to start a live thread?

I hope so, because I have no TV here...Notice the mug shots on this crook's wall? It's all fixed.

So has Stephen A. finally worn out his welcome at NBA lottery and draft broadcasts??? I hope so!
